It's been a while since I first posted about the Dashanzi art district, so I thought I should update with a few recent pictures. The contrast between the currently (questionably?) hot Beijing art galleries and the remaining metal shops remains stark; the asbestos-wrapped pipes remain terrifyingly omnipresent; and the opportunities to take pictures remain abundant.

Always a slow day when you're one of Beijing's thousands of teen-aged 'security' guards.
